Local festivals like the Jamboree are only made possible through the hard work of our dedicated volunteers! Although the Jamboree has been cancelled for the 2020 season, we will be looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our 2021 10th anniversary festival a success. - New to Yellowknife? Meet new friends and experience the best of winter.
- Share your talents in arts, crafts, back-stage or events with your community by helping with snow stage events, adventure races and more!
- Help keep people safe with site supervision, set-up, take-down and parking.
- Check out our awesome entertainment and live music while volunteering in the beer garden!
- Spend time making kids laugh, drawing, painting faces and playing carnival games in the Kids’ Tent!
- Get up close to the world famous ice carving competition by serving the carvers!
- Like to clown around? Have a big personality? Become a Jambassador and help families and festival-goers find out about events, get information and directions.
